When will my order ship?
I aim to ship Original Paintings within four business days.
Where do you ship to?
Original Paintings -New Zealand Only.
Currently, I do not offer international shipping for my original paintings. However, I am happy to provide a personalised quote for international shipping on request. Feel free to contact me via email with the title of the painting you are interested in purchasing and your address.
Framed Reproduction Canvas Prints are now available for NZ and Australia.
Reproduction Prints on Paper will be launched by the end of June 2026.
Rest of the world: I am still testing print and frame quality for print-on-demand suppliers. I hope to offer shipping to more countries later in the year.

Are your paintings in a Gallery so I can view them in person?
No, I currently do not have Gallery Representation.
However, I do participate in the Taupo King's Birthday Art Trail. Join my Collectors Club email list for more info closer to the event.

Do you use professional paints and canvas?
I use Professional Heavy Duty Gallery Wrapped Canvas 1.5" Deep.
My drawing supplies and acrylic art paints are professional artist-quality.
The brands I use for oil painting are Gamblin Artist Oil Paints, some colours from their 1980 range, Winsor and Newton Artist Oil, and Holbein.
I varnish with Gamblin Gamvar.
How do you price your art?
My original paintings are $1.80 per square inch, which is in line with the pricing of other NZ emerging artists.
How accurate are the colors shown in your photos?
I strive to photograph, film, and edit to provide the most accurate representation of the painting's colours. Achieving a perfect colour match can be challenging, as the display may vary depending on your device's settings.
How do I care for my Original Painting?
Avoid touching the painting to protect it from your skin's natural oil, moisturiser and dirt.
To keep the colours vibrant, please place it out of direct sunlight.
Away from moisture and grease in a well-ventilated room.
Away from extreme heat, for example, above a fireplace.
I varnish to protect the surface. Please dust carefully using a dry microfibre cloth or very soft brush (I use a clean, unused make-up powder brush) with gentle strokes, not rubbing.

My item arrived damaged. What should I do?
I take the utmost care in packaging.
If your artwork arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging prior to opening and then photograph the damaged art inside. Please email me the photos at art@tararountree.com so that I can evaluate the damage and make it right.
